The purpose of this blog is to chronicle the life-long dream of building an early 1960’s front engine dragster as era correct as possible, and still meet the safety requirements needed to allow us to run it. We are based in Northern California.

I don’t know where you are, but I am in Salisbury, NC…I have a 350 Chevy 1987 model that came out of a Van…the motor has numbers that indicate it came from Canada. I have dragster headers and polished aluminum valve covers on the center bolt heads. I have a set of R Pistons that are 4.125 bore and 14.5:1 Forged, I think they are Ross to make a 383….I have a Crane Gear drive cam drive and a timing chain cover thet looks like an old smooth aluminum cover……I also have a lot of Powerglide parts, Chevy Case, BOP Case, 1.82 shorty kit, Kevlar band, reverse pattern ATI manual valve body, Shield and converter shield, cast deep pan, pick-up extension, short locking dip stick, dragster shifter, and a slew of stock parts..
I lost most of my sight and had to give up drag racing….just finished a 170″ WB front engine car to SFI 2.6…..I would take a grand for it all….if this is something you might be interested in let me know…..bigviking0001@gmail.com….name is Don, Thanks
